I went in for some medical tests -- and I am baffled

So far, I still have no idea what caused this incident:

I am hoping my doctor will tell me more when he gets the final results. I had a stress test that involved being injected with radioactive stuff and then put under an imaging machine (kind of like a CT scan, but less advanced) for about 15 minutes.

I also have had a lot of blood work, a few more EKGs and a new chest X-ray.

If I am not sick, them I am going to feel kind of foolish. Better safe than sorry, I guess. But I hope they can figure something out so that I know this ordeal has been worth it.

At this point, I kind of hope they find something wrong. I really want to know what is going on. Hearing a doctor say "you're fine, it's all in your head" won't cut it.

It could have been some sort of spasm that hurts like hell, and then disappears.

I used to be a Critical Care RN, but this was a long time ago. So I could certainly be wrong...

This much I do know for sure: If they don't find anything wrong, you at least have a terrific baseline batch of data that will be very helpful if you ever have any more problems...

I'm hoping, of course, that you never have a repeat ...

6. I wish you well, and if there continues to be no diagnosis...

ask your doctor to consider the possibility that your cervical spine may be compromised, thereby causing pressure on a nerve.
