Anybody here use a cooling pad for your laptop.
I bought one today, it has two fans and is a USB hub.

So far I like it.

2. Yes..bought one for my daughters laptop last year
She lays in bed with it, sits in bed..all the blankets and everything can really heat that sucker up. With the pad it keeps air flowing and helps with battery life and the systems runs better.
And it makes it more comfortable when it's on your lap as well.
two thumbs up here -:thumbsup:

3. I have been looking at cooling pads but I had a scare with the laptop over heating.
The laptop turned itself off for protection.

I had a friend check out the laptop and she cleaned out the fan area.

Everything is OK now but I think the cooling pad is worth the money, and peace of mind.

I also like having extra USB ports.

5. I guess it could depend on the size of the cooling pad and the package.
