Help me with this dilema...
I got a call in January from the Howard Dean camp and agreed to donate $25. Now that he's dropped out of the race I was thinking of blowing him off. They sent me a notice recently reminding me that I still haven't paid. My question is, should I send him the money?

1. If at all possible, I would.

Barring just not having the cash, I'd still send it.

Most likely, he still has bills to pay.
You did *promise.*
I'm sure they budgeted using calculations from expected/pledged donations.

Edit: typo

3. That's what AI was thinking.
Plus Howard is big on balancing the budget. And if he owes folks money, he's determined to pay them.

2. Yes. Every campaign, even after it's over, still has bills to pay.
You committed to send $25, so you should ante up.

5. Yes, send him the money
Dean is still going to play a role in the election by trying to motivate his supporters to get out and vote. Money to Dean's campaign is still a means of supporting a more progressive Democratic Party.

6. Yes, you should, IMO.

Since you asked, I suggest you keep your word. They're just trying to pay off their campaign debt, which is less than one million dollars.

John Glenn still owes over $2M for his failed presidential run. When was that -- '80? '84?!
