We're putting up the tree and BabyMidlo
has given me a choice of which music to listen to.

1) Hansen Christmas CD

2) JoBro

I want to listen to the Rolling Stone Greatest Hits of Classic Rock I bought last night.

Isn't that what they play to annoy the prisoners in Gitmo?

2. LOL. It's actually pretty good.
Those boys have some beautiful voices. Their version of 'Oh, Holy Night' must have brought their mom to her knees.

Barbra Streisand's Christmas Album (that nice Jewish girl can sure sing one hell of an Ave Maria)

or

John Gary's Christmas album (it's rare, but if you can find it, it's worth it--we grew up with it)

If you're listening to Jonas Brothers, I hope you've stocked up on eggnog.

16. No. I just asked BabyM
and this is the exchange.

Me: B, have you ever heard of the Naked Brothers?

BabyM: Yeah, they're stupid. They try to be cool but they're ugly and stupid. Nothing like the Jonas Brothers.

--------> me -----> :rofl:

I. Shit. You. Not.

Kids.

17. Daughter-mim was invited, so it was free and a night away from Mom and Dad.
At 11 who would you choose, Mom and Dad, or a shitty teeny-band!

:hi:

each way to see the JoBro with chatty Cathy in the back seat. :eyes:

Jeebus. The things we do for our kids.

20. One more thing. Make sure you give her money for a Tee-shirt.
Everything else doesn't matter. The physical proof of going to the concert is HUGH.

If they've left already, CALL THAT MOM and ask her to front you the $650 or thereabouts for the shirt.

J/K. The JoBro shirt was $35. Seriously. I paid $35 for a shirt and got a new President and a car magnet to boot.

24. Dude. You have no idea. It is friggin' deadly.
I had to take a van load of them recently to Target to buy stuff to make stockings for some underprivileged children and I wanted to shove an ice pick in my ears, but Target apparently doesn't carry them.

11. Why did you let Babymidlo learn that those albums exist?
If I had a kid, I'd do my best to have him thinking that all music is by Pink Floyd

One of the first songs she learned to sing was 'Who Are You?'

In the van, we're currently jamming to Triumph.

21. You've met her. You know how relentless she can be.
She wanted to buy a blow up penguin, the ferris wheel, the blow up ornaments and the holographic gifts because we only do white trees, candles and snowmen in the yard.

She's a mess.

26. Seriously. She is deadly.
She gets hold of something and is like a dog gnawing a bone.

The boy is like that too. When he gets a bee in his bonnett, he lands right between my shoulder blades. He's younger and stronger, so you can guess who wins the 'Mom, can I have a couple of bucks to go to Wawa?' discussions.
