Soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

3. Mmm!Yummy! I usually do cornbread with my soups, but

a grilled cheese and tomato soup is about as good as it gets.

2. I did not tonight

Here it is 9 degrees and I was eating cold sushi and mackerel covered in daikon sauce. Earlier today I had matzos and hummus. Hardly winter weather food.

4. also. ...put on a big pot of beans, cornbread, boiled red potatoes

cole slaw (don't get fancy with the cole slaw either). Might want to bake a pie or two...

5. Portuguese Kale Soup here

with lots of sausage.

Then again, Boston is Portuguese country.
