It's just that after a long time of my brother taking advantage of my kindness I ended it bluntly. This was the right thing.
Now it's 22deg. outside. He has drank up all his money and has nowhere to go because I was the only one that would put up with his crap.
I was really just venting again as I decide what to do. It's been a hell of a weekend.

So I think what I'm going to do is the wrong thing, and hope that I feel good doing it. Shit, it seems to work for most people.

I guess I'm weak but hell.
I'll just revize the "house rules" and demand collateral or something.

Worked for me, and now I'm all better.

9. I read a thread recently... |
|
...about a guy whose brother pulled a gun on him and the (unsympathetic) cops had to be called. Is this that brother?

Here's an interesting newsflash.
He got drunk the day after I booted him and he went on a delivery with a truck driver. He is 5 states away. LoL
I can't MAKE this shit up!! I can't help but laugh at the moment. I just found this out 5min ago.

11. Well, I'd love to tell you kick him to the curb... |
|
...(in fact I was going to do just that) but I WAS that brother, and my brother put up with all my bullshit for a lot of years until I finally straightened out. I think you should do whatever feels right...but hide the guns...lol.
And I hear ya about parts of it being funny. Just because it's sad and sometimes scary don't mean it ain't funny. Some of my best stories around the holidays or at family reunions are about my days as a lowlife drug addict. There's probably a little of an "if-I-don't-laugh-I'll-cry" aspect to it, but who says cautionary tales can't be fun?
