25. I need to get my ass to the grocery store before dark and sunset

is listed as 5:07 pm here tonight. It is 4:52 pm now. I don't think I could even get dressed in that amount of time considering how slow I'm moving today. I'm going out after dark to the grocery store. That much is for sure now. I resent even having to walk around the grocery story to get the food tonight. I feel so tired. I slept all night and I had a good night's sleep. I just want to lounge today and do nothing.

The added joy of eating what I cook (yes, I gotta cook when I get home) is the ONLY thing making me want to get my ass in gear any at all re: the grocery store. I plan on cooking a homemade crescent roll pizza. Today, because we have 5 coupons, I am going to make it a thick crust for the first time ever using 2 cans of crescent rolls. Wish me luck.

I was running, running RUNNING all day yesterday for about 20 hours straight. And I did get a lot accomplished. But now all I want to do today is lounge. =sigh= I have been ridiculously, embarrassingly unproductive. Plus I am waiting for a certain important email, so I check for it obsessively every few minutes... even though my impeccably reliable messenger service hasn't notified me of any new emails. :eyes:

Eh, I am going to get my arse moving in a minute because I HAVE to get some stuff done for deadlines tomorrow. I just hate that I've been procrastinating all friggin' day. And now it's dark out. And cold. And it's always so much harder to start things when it's dark out. Or cold. Or both. Waaaah!

Oh well. I have a pretty good sugar and caffeine buzz going at the minute so I'm going to take advantage of that window to get my momentum going.

Yeah the dark is some weird mental block thing that I (sometimes) have.

Like, I am totally a night person and if I start doing stuff during the day I can continue at full speed well into the wee hours. But on days like today, if I haven't even started something by the time it's dark, it's like I can't get motivated AT ALL.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. :hug:
