Talented Actors and the bad movie choices they've made
Let's face it - every great actor has a few really bad movies they've made in their lifetime. Like me, I'm the biggest Tim Robbins fan, a great progressive actor, but what the hell was he thinking when he signed on to play in "Mission to Mars" (talented cast in a horribly scripted movie).

So in honor of the Oscars - list some of your favorite actors and the horrible movie choices they've made in their careers.

2. Clint Eastwood
A very bit part in "Revenge of the Creature" as a lab assistant that loses the white rat that was raised in a cage with a cat from both their births to demonstrate that they aren't natural enemies. The rat somehow got into his pocket, causing much embarrassment for Clint. This was one of, if not the, first time he was on the silver screen.

Saw it on MST3K on Sci-Fi. I think one of the robots commented, "He'll never work in movies again!"

3. Wyona Ryder
Autumn in New York was one of the worst sentimental, phoney crap movies I've ever seen. I expect that from Gere, but not Ryder, not after all the good offbeat films she's done.

They're truly pee in your pants funny. After you see those, his movies are a big letdown.

Freebasing. He actually turns it into a comedy bit. I can't remember what it's called--Maybe "Live at the Hollywqood Bowl" or wsomething. Definitely worth renting.

but Mystery Science Theater showed an old B&W movie with "The Man from UNCLE" cast as a cave man. Absolutely hilarious! And not the best thing for your future career.

Monkeybone was creative and had its moments. Not like Bedazzled. That really stank up the place.

29. Ben Stiller: talented comic actor, movies all stupid comedies
When I used to watch The Ben Stiller Show (a sketch comedy show on early Fox), I saw an enormously talented comic actor. But he seems to have settled for doing the stupid comedy shit a la Jim Carrey. I can't even watch his movies, and I'm saddened by that fact; I hope he eventually gets back to doing the kind of inventive comedy that he is so good at.

34. Susan Sarandon
who I like. But she made a terrible movie with Julia Roberts (Stepmom?)and also a horrible movie with Goldie Hawn (The Banger Sisters). She needs more scripts like "Light Sleeper" (with Willem Dafoe), "Dead Man Walking", and "Thelma and Louise".
