I know I missed all the excitement last night with people posting about the Oscars and all but I'm going to post one last thread here anyway. Was everyone glad that ROTK won last night? I myself was, figuring it deserved it at least as much as any of the other nominations. Was rooting for Murray or DEPP to get the best actor but am fine with Penn winning

How about those commercials? Could you believe some of the star power in those? I didn't catch them all but thought they outshone anything from the vaunted superbowl night. highlight was Tiger Woods doing Crl the caretaker from Caddyshack, boy Tiger cannot act though..

Nerds were promising to rise up against the movie industry if ROTK didn't win, especially after Annie Hall beat out Star Wars in the 1970s. Of course, we could easily have been supplicated by riot police handing out Palm Pilots, Dilbert books, and Star Wars action figures.
