NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I was going to open up the file i have my NYU application essay and personal statements on so that i could finish up. i had 2 done and was close to finishing the third.

i don't know how the hell i managed to delete it, but i did apparently.

1. If you haven't emptied the Recycle Bin in Windows...
you can just open it and restore the file.

Otherwise, you need a third-party utility to get it back.

5. Word and some other programs save automatically into temp files
and you might be able to access them via "recent documents" or through opening the program you created them on and seeing if there's anything in the menus. Sorry to hear it :(

7. can you access the applications you have completed?
You may customize each essay and personal statement for each application, but you do use parts for each, so perhaps that could save you lots of time re-writing?
