Would you wear one of these?
Just heard a report on NPR's "All Things Considered" that Urban Outfitters is selling a T-shirt with the slogan "Voting is for Old People". I think this is a terrible message to send to American youth -- they are the ones who get sent off to fight numbnuts' wars.

What do you think about this, DUers of all ages?

That's about as 'hip' as teenage mutant hero turtles etc.

I can just picture some old southern white people owning that company.

x: letsee here we need some of those "younguns" clothes.

y: I know let's take that font that was so popular among those hippies when we saw them in the 60s and put a "cool" message on a shirt.

x: oh oh I know.. "VOTING IS FOR OLD PEOPLE" he will be so hip and people won't think he's a dork or anything omg we'll be rich billybob

3. There was a thread in GD on this last week.
I sent them an e-mail stating that this MIGHT not be the best message.

Of course, Urban Outfitters' founder and CEO contributes to pRick Santorum...so make of that what you will...
