I can't believe I waited so long to join NETFLIX

Now, I've rented adult titles online :popcorn: :popcorn: but only recently joined NETFLIX as practically every video rental store has closed...And I don't like over-priced Blockbuster at all, so "F" them....

My goodness, NETFLIX has EVERYTHING.....I type in some obscure movies i remember (mostly horror & action films) & they have every title I've entered....Plus they keep up with all the new stuff.....I just got a Blu-Ray player, & they are starting to get in the older movies (that are available) in that format now as well....

Of course, the adult titles I referred to in 1st paragraph are for my neighbors who don't have computers, they're not for me of course...

1. I felt the same way too until it started taking 2 weeks between DVDs

even though I was returning the DVDs only a few days after receiving them.

The selection's a bit limited but it works well.

It's just as easy to stop at my grocery store on the way home and pick up a $1 DVD from the local Red Box. Sure the selection is limited but I also have On-Demand with all the movies from Encore and HBO.

If I can't find a movie to watch perhaps I should gouge my eyes out.

3. There are two other things I like about them:

One, they let you reserve titles that haven't yet been released -- haven't even gotten release dates yet. I don't see many movies in the theaters, so when something promising hits the big screen, I can usually put it in my queue at Netflix right away. Six months or a year later, when it finally hits DVD, I don't need to remember that I wanted to see it, it's already moved into my active queue.

Two, on the rare occasion that something isn't yet out on DVD, they'll still let you reserve it, and the massive numbers of people who do that let producers and distributors know there's a demand for the film on disc. It's a great way for hesitant film companies to see the ready-made demand for their product and rationalize the costs of licensing what they need to license for DVD distribution.
