So, my youngest has applied to college with a request for

early decision. I don't know how she's holding up, but I am frantic to hear from the college. She should be a shoe-in, but still I'm nervous.

I remember going to college years ago, I wrote all the apps, figured it all out myself, and filled out all the forms, and my parents had very little to do with it. Or at least that's the way I remember it... :)


It's interesting how much more complicated it seems now. I hope things go well for her.

she'll get in. What I'm waiting to hear is whether there'll be any financial aid. I tell you, if Obama delivers half the assistance with college costs that he's promised, I'll be happy!

The deadlines, and the wait, and getting ready for graduation all at the same time... This has to be a pretty stressful but exciting time. :)
