I'm sleepy.
Why can't we take naps at work?

This should be allowed.

5. I'm also hungry.
I only have soup and I don't really want soup right now. So... I'm not that hungry, I guess. :P

:applause:

Napping improves the concentration. And productivity. And reduces opportunities for interpersonal conflict, workplace injuries and office theft.

:applause:

3. It helps if you are so unimportant that they stick you away in some
god forsaken basement office. If I could figure out how to log onto the server and have my calls automatically forwarded, I could probably never show up and still get paid. :P

4. Siesta.

Most civilized countries have it or something similar.

If your boss complains, say "Google diurnal body temperature patterns".

3pm, baby, 3pm.

6. we can't?
when I know my boss isn't coming in, sometimes I'll take a nap on his sofa at lunch time.

This afternoon after work and before the hockey game, I fully intend to stretch out in the back seat of my car for an hour or so....

is in the reception area, right in front of my desk. I don't think I could get away with it. :P

Glad you'll be rested for the hockey game. :hi:

9. I actually took a nap at work yesterday.
Didn't sleep at all the night before, and I had a ton of stuff to do at work.

Finally, after nearly falling asleep again and again, I went down to the parking garage, got in my car, set my cell phone alarm, and did a 15 minute power nap.

I was still tired, but that little nap gave me a bit of a boost, and I made it through the rest of my day.
