"First of all I want to point out I DID NOT do this on person. This was not rehearsed, this was preplanned, I just blurted it out without thinking.

Last night i'm in the press line on the red carpet for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" A woman comes up and introduces herself clearly desperate to be interviewed as "Lauren Bush" I ask her if she's in the movie she responds " I wish! I'm the presidents niece."

The words were out of my mouth before I realized it.

Cam:You're Barack Obama's niece?

LB: George W Bush!

Cam:oh that's right he's still president isn't he?

uuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

she spent the rest of night shooting me nasty looks. "
