How about some music trivia?

1. What record helped forever change the face of American popular music when it reached #1 on the Billboard pop chart for the week of July 8, 1955?

2. What was Bo Diddley's only record to crack the Billboard pop Top 40?

3. Which recording was a #1 hit both in 1960 and 1962? Hint: it was the same single by the same artist, reissued a year-plus after its initial chart run.

4. What early '60s rock 'n' roll sensation enjoyed a comeback with a pair of hit singles in 1981 and 1982 respectively? For bonus points, who produced his early '80s work?

5. What was Elvis Presley's first #1 C&W hit? Hint: it wasn't "Heartbreak Hotel."

6. Who was the first African-American "bird" group?

Answers later....
