Very quick computer question.

I'm downloading some software and was being updated on the progress every few seconds in the dialog box. Only it stopped at 10.0 MB (59% complete). It hasn't appeared to progress for a couple of minutes now. Did it just stop updating ever few seconds because it hit 10 MB, or did the whole thing fuck up? I don't want to hit cancel if it's still going.

2. not really possible to tell, really, but...

most likely if there's no progress after a couple minutes, the connection went south or the host changed something and aborted the download.

for a more precise look, you could check the connection and see if there are any bytes at all coming in. if there's really nothing, then give up and restart. it happens....
