When I was a kid, you couldn't go to an "R" rated movie by yourself, but there was no PG13. I thought PG13 was merely a kind of warning but not one that would prevent a kid from going in if they wanted to-- after all if they're old enough to be going to a show unescorted by a parent, they have SOME right to use their own judgment . . . .
