1. We have an old 8 room but small row house, built about 1910,
Bought it reasonably, put a lot into it and plan on staying till we are carried out. Double back yars, stone patio, stone walkway, no grass - mulch. Bird and squirrel feeders.

Strong as a fucking bank.

2. Large house, large lot.
I love having square footage to move around in and a big yard (about an acre) to roam in.

4. I prefer medium with large lot. Too much space means lot of cleaning, energy bills, maintenance

5. Would you consider 2800 sqft large or medium?
That's the size of my house. It's really not to hard to take care of.

11. We have 2600 sf, but three bathrooms.
We use every inch of our house (two kids, two adults, four mammals). My husband and I primarily work at home, so the space comes in handy, because we both have a little home office.

8. Condo living for me
The place I'm in now was built as a condo - great sound proofing - guests are amazed at how quiet it is. Having wonderful neighbors helps, too.

Plus, I don't have to deal with painting the outside, roof issues, landscaping, etc.

Yeah, I hate paying those association fees, but it's a choice I made.

At 1350 square feet and one level, it's not too much of a chore to clean.

I plan on staying until they have to come tote me out.

12. Big house on a large lot.
The house doesn't need to be HUGE, but I like some space. I would love lots of land though. That way I can have more animals.
