How much RAM is your computer using right now?
I am using 5.125GB of system RAM.

By tomorrow, 6.75GB...

total RAM-4096Mb
Free RAM-3016 Mb
Running XP X64, AVG, Ghostwall, SeaMonkey, Folding@home and folding@home GPU, listening to old blues with Trayplay. I try to avoid memory hog apps.

8. It's not how big it is, but what you can do with it that counts.
...or so they say...

4gb here on an Intel Pentium D dual core. Not the latest greatest by any means, but the mobo and chip were free and the memory ten bucks a stick.

I can live with that.

Go to the task bar at the bottom of the screen. Right-click it. On the context menu that appears, click "task manager"

Vista eats RAM like Fat Albert eats truffles, but Vista 64 is so much more solid than XP64 ever will be. Same for driver support. Sadly, Vista will be the future.

Vista 64 is essential if you ever want to use the full 4GB of addressable memory in your machine.

That half gig of RAM on my graphics card has to be addressed in the same memory space! I was so appalled when I learned that was how it worked. :o
