Poll question: How many Super Tuesday states have you been to?

1. I've been to every state in the lower 48

2. Could you list them all? I can recognize states when they're

unlabeled in a U.S. map but not out of context, though if you gave me all 48 as a jigsaw puzzle, I could put them together and then identify each of them!

Or, I can just guess. . . I can identify three of them. :shrug:

Ohio - visited relatives there when I was little
GA - Airport stopover a few years later
CA - Disneyland a few years after that :)

4. CA, CT, MD, MA, NY, RI, GA, MN, OH, VT

was born in RI and lived and CT and hitchhiked up to MA and lived on Beacon Hill while hanging out with the Moonies and visited or hitchiked through all the rest... the only two I haven't been too or through are NV and ID.

6. I've been in those same ten

I just goofed and voted 8-9, though, because I forgot about Georgia. But we drove down to Florida once, so we must have gone through Georgia, even though I don't remember it.

It was probably the part where they hadn't finished the interstate yet (this was 1973), so you'd be driving along on the expressway and then suddenly you'd find yourself on a two-lane highway through the swamp, bordered by tumbledown sharecroppers' shacks. And then a few miles later, it would be expressway again. It was pretty strange.
