Poll question: Worst product placement in a movie.
Should be self-explanatory.

23. Not sure the difference between "best" and "worst," but that was my choice
for most memorable.

4. Don't see it. It is a howling abomination, without anything approaching Ed Wood type unintentional
valuation. Search youtube for it and worst dialogue, IIRC. There is a clip up of the worst lines from the film, and they are scathingly bad. There was one amusing bit involving frogs, but the scene in which he ballet dances to defeat mutant ostrich...

'n Jello Pudding Pops, 'n Kodak film, 'n Coca-Cola...

9. all of the above?
I prefer the style of Repo Man where the beer cans just say "BEER" on them, or barring that, a fake label.

Fuck product placement. I almost always notice it, and it almost always pisses me off.

11. I almost went for the Wizard...
however, when that came out and I was a kid, the draw was that it was about Nintendo. We loved Nintendo, so the movie was related to our lives. I do not love FedEx. In fact, I hate FedEx. They are the worst.

worked on me
:smoke:

Wanna see a bizarre placement, the original Superman movie. Martha Kent gets Cherrios for Clark in a very obvious ad placement manner. They even put a spot on it in a dark set.

24. I'm more weirded out by non-product placement.
When they make a movie about current times, for instance, and someone drinks a soda from a generic can with no logo. Bothers me more than product placement. It's as though they are saying "If we don't get cash to represent society accurately, we will pretend we don't know what people drink."

Not only was it a blatantly stupid obvious product placement, but it made ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE in any way, shape or form. Totally ripped you right out of the movie.

27. i saw a "coke" can in a movie once about some guy who did something...
seriously.

you "product placement" nazis need to get over yourself and get a life.

people in real life eat "cheerios." they drink "diet pepsi." if it shows up on the silver screen or on tv so what? you are only happy when a can has the word "beer" on it?

are your tin hats really screwed on that tight?

madon...
