i just got electrocuted by the toaster

i was toasting a bagel and it was staying in too long so i pulled the thing that is supposed to pull the bagel back up and it shocked me. x(

"Electrocution" combines the words "electric" and "execution". It refers to using electricity for execution--like in an electric chair. You got an electric shock. If you were electrocuted and can still write about it, some folks over in R/T are lookin' foolish right about now!

Anyway, I'm glad you're okay. I was once shocked so bad I got kicked across the room when plugging a mic into an outlet for a sound system. Don't know what went wrong--but I thought I'd been electrocuted! :) You might consider tossing that toaster. It may have a wiring problem. Sorry this happened! :hug:

I hung a shitload of lights around the front of the house. It's been drizzly and rainy here- and I had one more string to add. When I was plugging it in I was like- that's a weird sensation- very very mild buzz coming off the whole line due to being wet :) ( yes they are outside lights )
