9. I managed to get in on time

but I didn't get in at all yesterday. I had to get my car appraised from the branch that fell on it, and I had to get some laundry done as I was running out of clean clothes after not having power for about 80 hours.

25. I think I'm gonna take this time to make my first batch of loco-mead.

Or as I'm going to call it, "Loki's Helfire." It'll be what's called a capsicumel. Sweet mead with hot peppers added. :evilgrin:

I'll also try to mend my jacket, what with winter being here and all. I've got my leather awl and whatnot around here somewhere, just gotta find it.

It's nice and grey here too. And quiet... very quiet. Not too many people risking their cars out on the roads today.

I did see a bird on my balcony, and gave him some leftover muffin. :)

He does not realize, one of us gets hurt trying to make it to work, to meet his demands and we are suing.

I hate DFW area when it is icy. Remember 1990 and the ice and snow up there when I was at UTA. I was wearing a tanktop the night before while I was at the library studing for a speech final. woke up that morning, and it was freezing cold, and then the ice started. Had to drive home in it, that was a lot of fun.
