DU is an amazing site because of its community. And as any Democratic organization, there are competing interests. Here is a great example of that. The original thread is about Obama's transition teams refusal to support legalizing weed. The thread has evolved in many different ways. One of them is equating the legalization of weed civil rights, and specifically gay marriage and abortion. Check it out for some truly classic DU discussion!
