1. Dunno why, but the first thing that came to mind was
eat corn chips and masturbate.

Not at the same time, of course.

2. Dammit! I'm fresh out of corn chips.
I have some Pirate's Booty. Will that work?

And no, I am NOT walking to the store for corn chips. It's snowing hard out there.

4. Is Pirate's Booty
some kind of porn title?

The corn chips are just an idea. Any kind of snack should do fine. :)

But better quality ingredients.

The company makes other products.

10. I cannot promise good results.
I think you would spend more time teaching me to crochet than it would take you to finish it.

16. About 90 miles east.
It snows all the time over there, so she is at work. She believes the Seattleites are wussies. She is correct, but it doesn't really snow here, so there are limited resources to deal with it.

19. my best friend from college regaled me one year with a harrowing tale

of being stuck on one of those floating bridges in a snowstorm. I live back east, so snow storms are kind of de rigeur...

Apologies if we've had this conversation before, I tend to think of it when anyone talks about Seattle and snow...

21. The West Seattle Bridge is closed - the upper level anyway..
Route 520 - which is one of the floating bridges is all messed up. I'm glad I don't work for Microsoft - getting around up in Redmond would be a mess!

27. It snowed there before it snowed here.
And this is very rare.

Rain, I expect. Snow was not in the relocation brochure.
