Good news! We got our bonuses this year!

We'd been all told that it was pretty likely that the usual holiday bonus wouldn't be coming this year. Last year it was significantly lower than the year before and people were griping about it. (I wasn't, never count on something you don't know is coming or how much it will be until it comes). I guess they decided to lower our expectations to avoid having people bitch.

It's actually more than it was last year, although neither are like previous years. I'm very happy that I will be able to pay off some debt -- still haven't paid off my kitty's emergency treatment earlier in the year, CareCredit is the only way we were able to afford it but I want to get it paid off.

My mom got a turkey for her bonus this year, but last year they didn't even do that, so she is happy too.

I had to work Thanksgiving, and I'll have to work Christmas and New Years, so I'll get holiday worked pay too. I just might be able to get the vet bill paid off.
