He does this every single time it snows or rains. He comes back into the house after doing "business" outside, and runs back and forth about the house, rolls all around the floor on his back acting like a baby first finding their hands and feet, wanting to play and have his belly scratched.

I just beated his little butt. (Not in a mean way, more like love pats.) He likes it! I just cannot figure out why he gets so hyper and silly with the weather changes. He does this all the time.

Where is Bill Cosby to explain such things when you need him. *sigh*

1. No idea, my dogs freak out when it thunder/lightnings
but, its pretty obvious why they hide, they don't know what the sound/flash of light is...

My pom is such a pacifist, a mouse could whip his ass...

2. Oh, now loud thunderstorms are different. My pup was always afraid of thunder and storms too.
The first "thunder boom", or crack of lightening would result in his running across the house to land in my lap. Fourth of July weeks were especially awful for him too. But he is deaf now, so it is not such a big problem anymore.

Got a pic of you pom? :)

5. Oh yeah, I can see that adorable little pom backing off from a mouse. LOL!
My pup is like that too.

He'd challenge a damned bear with all his 20 pounds. Dumb shit. He almost got himself killed a couple times doing shit like that with 120 pound dogs.

I kinda like that other pup in your pic too. That brown one. He/she looks awfully cute. :)

I don't have room for another one right now, but when I do, I have that get a Pug. Such wrinkled up and unattractive little beasts! I must have one!

6. The other dog is a .....
I think part blue heeler, and something else...I can't recall, her name is Sister, we still have her, she is a GREAT dog...She was a parking lot dog, and she has been sweet from the get go.

About the only dumb thing Spot has done, is eat a portion of his flea/tick collar, it damn near killed him...he was limp/damn near dead when I found him on the couch...but he pulled through. He is such a lazy ass...I swear, he sleeps like 18 hours a day....he is spoiled, through and through.

8. My cats have been doing the same thing
Racing around the house chasing and attacking each other. I dunno, maybe they do it outside and I just don't see it. Now that it's mucky they have to do it inside.

10. One of my dogs does the same thing.
Runs around like a complete maniac as soon as she gets inside, usually trying to get the other dog to chase her (he seldom does). I think she may be doing it to warm up.
