Puppy pictures.

Warren's got me so ticked off that I had to take doggie pictures today. Here are recent phone pics from over the last couple of weeks, including vet trips.

Sparky, a twelve-pound something-or-other, possibly Manchester Terrierish. We call what she's doing with her ears "triangulating," which I suppose is appropriate to this week's Big Story:

4. Beautiful dogs!

I have a couple of spitz mixes although they have a lot of their daddy in them (a beagle mix). I still have the whole "family" except their momma who passed away last year. She was 100% spitz that was abandoned, I suspect because of her vocal habits (all spitz's love to bark).

I LOVE the other guys in the crew too! Sparky looks like a nice little guy!

5. You sometimes just have to take 'em as you find 'em.

Sparky was left on the porch of our old house as a puppy by a Mysterious Stranger (we suspect my wife's uncle). All our critters are strays or hand-me-downs, and sometimes that means family units.

7. People leave FREE dogs on the road all the time here. Woohoo!

I take in the ones who seem compatible, I try to find homes for those who aren't. Some I am forced to take to the pound. A lot of people just shoot strays due to the huge problem around here but I don't have what it takes to do that.
