Death bed conversations
Here's the place to post famous last words.

For instance, who was it who, upon waking up and seeing a small fire had broken out when his lamp ignited the bedclothes, said "Flames? Not yet, I think!" Or something like that.

While dying of cerebral meningitis in a Parisian hotel room, Oscar Wilde was offered a glass of champagne. His final toast? "I am dying as I have lived, beyond my means."

He also had a great quote about the dreadful wall-paper in his room. I can't remember how it went exactly.

50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Stories are told that Adams' last words were "Thomas Jefferson survives"...Tom Jefferson's last words were "Is it the 4th?"
