My husband plays this strange game with me where he pretends to be asleep in the morning...

when he is definitely not. He doesn't stir until I touch him. There's nothing really cute about it, and he literally will not move until I touch him and tell him to move. He will not do so on his own accord. I feel like he's playing this weird little control game with me... to see how long I can stand having him lie there and feign sleep. In fact, as I wrote this post, I saw him in the corner of my eye turn his head slightly and look at me. Now he's "asleep" again.

4. Yeah that's the best thing for me to do, I think... it's hard because he knows I can't stand it...

but he does it anyway because he is so used to my waking him and his mom waking him before me. (This is a long-running habit with him.) He can wake himself just fine, but for him to have someone come do it for him is better and he gets to assert a certain control over the situation (he can be passive aggressive from time to time.)

He has now just rolled onto his back. My writing all of this is helping me keep away from going to that side of the bed. :P

Our cat and our dog are already at the kennel. No pans to clean for Mr. Writer! :P

Now he's "breathing heavily." This is such a joke.

When I wake him usually he pretends not to know what's going on. He'll let out a snort then say, "Wha'? WHA???"
