Last night I had a dream I got shitfaced on O'Douls with Stephen King.

I thought my husband, an alcoholic who had allegedly stopped drinking, was drinking O'Douls, I thought, AND getting 'under the influence' according to my judgment.

Well, guess what! It wasn't ONLY O'Douls that he was drinking.

I left him (2 yrs ago) after he hit me badly.

My sponsor told me that I shouldn't hang around with my friends who drank because of the temptation, but they were marvelously supportive. Being tempted doesn't mean you have to give in, and I believe it made me stronger — and n/a beer doesn't tempt me at all.

I know what you mean. I injured my back three years sober. the Doc told me if I laid down and DIDN'T MOVE for two weeks it would heal. He gave me major tranqs and muscle relaxers to keep me down.

After the first day I PROMISED my hubby I'd be good but please please please don't make me take them again.

I hated being high.
