I'm seeing a counselor tomorrow. I'm still in love with him but on his side it's purely platonic now.

I'm grieving like hell but there just isn't any hope left at all.

I have been there. It feels awful. Like the end of the world. It is so hard.

However, it DOES get better. It takes time and strength. Don't expect to much from yourself right away. Give yourself
time to grieve and be angry and scream and cry or whatever else you need to do. Then, focus on yourself and what you
want out of your life, and head straight in that direction.

I promise you there are happier times ahead.

33. Thank you all; I've always thought of DU as a friendly neighborhood pub

and the Lounge as the rowdy section--even if I don't anyone personally, I know we care about each other when the chips are down.

I went to church yesterday for the first time in a while; it was very helpful just to be there (and wow--is my nearest UCC a beautiful place!)

I stopped belly dancing for a while, now I'm taking it up again, it's so much fun.

Husband and son are getting me a dog for Christmas, too, we'll go the shelter today or tomorrow so I'm very excited by that. I've got family support nearby, too.

After a day of despair and tears, I sat down to watch 2 "WKRP" yesterday and found them just as funny as they were the first time--that make me feel much better about my state of mind.

That's why I like Democrats in a group; we're funny, we're pissy, but down inside, we know we're connected and we hate to see others hurt.
