7. You people and your ABC stores

I went to DC and Virginia in September and damn near perished for want of booze. Had to drive around all over creation before I found a stupid ABC store (and why are they called ABC? Alcohol, Booze and Cocktails?).

Out here, I just go to Safeway and as long as I get there before 2am or after 6am, I can buy whatever I want.

Oh, and I want a cookie. :P
