My head just asploded

A 17-year old girl passed away tragically a few days ago, and someone left this on her myspace:

"i wanted to apologize to you for never sharing more about Jesus around you. I just hope that you knew him."

1. I would find that crude and thoughtless. But I bet she doesn't see it

that way. It's hard to figure out what's going on in people's heads some time.

2. They've tried to save my soul before

I can understand gettin' with Jesus, but, people, I've all but got "666" tatooed on my forehead. I was eating lunch in a public place by myself one time when some young, Christian man asked if he could talk to me about Jesus. I said sure. He soon regretted that, but he did pray for me before making a quick exit.

I wonder if there is an age that Christians consider one to be able to make their own decisions about their own salvation. Do they spiritually become responsible for themselves at 18? Is the legal age of spirituality 21?
