I saw them several times during their heydays in the mid seventies, but the best show I ever saw them do was around 1997. All four original members were together again, and they played a small club in Danville called The Velvet Turtle. The place only sat about a hundred and fifty people, and let me tell you we all raised the roof! The band was awesome. Lonesome Dave was just the best live. I think I have some partial hearing loss from that show.

12. "Lonesome" Dave Peverette died in 2000,

and slide guitarist Rod Price died in 2005. Bassist Tony Stevens quit touring in 2005, so the only original member still playing as "Foghat" is drummer Roger Earl.:(
