the Cure ... I didn't discover them
*note there are generational issues involved
until the summer of '93 :)

Just can't afford the time or the expense of travelling across the country to go. Although it would be worth every penny.

The Flaming Lips is the difference. Also, I love The Thrills, The Cure, Belle and Sebastian, Le Tigre, Cursive, Mogwai, and Broken Social Scene

May 1 faves- Radiohead, The Pixies, Wilco, Stereolab, Death Cab for Cutie, the Black Keys, and Dios.

I live in SoCal, but I'm not going again this year. It's a bit too expensive, and it is a tough day- NO re-entry, and you can't bring any coolers or anything, so it gets extremely expensive. You have to keep buying water since it's so bloody hot in the desert that time of year. At 31, I can't do two days like that, or even one. Maybe a decade ago...

Definatly May 2, but both are good. I think its on par from previous years.
