I am now officially on a waiting list for a car that may never be built...

Audi is transitioning to the new A4, which I am told by the dealer, is completely new compared to the old one, therefore, they have to make a new RS4 Avant on the new platform and no longer make the "old" bodystyle.

No one knows if they actually will, and if they do, if it will be imported here.

I am 99% sure they will make one, what is up in the air is whether or not I will be able to get one here in the US.

oh and car dealers and salesmen/women REALLY need to sell cars, my phone has been ringing off the hook the last few days with calls from salespeople telling me that even over the holidays they are available to help me buy a new car...

I do like Audis. Too bad they are a little spendy.

they were pretty nice, but the place I went to look at a used RS4 sedan, holy cow I barely got 3 steps out of the car before I was descended upon like I was dinner in a cage of hungry lions...

Thank god I was there to see someone specific.

edit:

this is not an RS4, but this IS the new Audi A4 Avant

the picture does not do this car justice, it is absolutely stunning in person. I almost bought it yesterday.
