I am being encased in a white tomb
This snow just keeps coming and coming. We already had more than a foot on the ground, we've had over a foot today and still counting. Buses are having a hard time getting about - my car has no hope of getting to a main artery and it's less than a block away.

Christmas Eve with my mom is out of the question, and Christmas day isn't looking promising. I might be able to manage by Boxing Day.

The only bright side is the snow let up long enough last week for me to get to my father's funeral - if that can be a bright sad.

Suckiest December EVER!!

1. Sorry to hear about your dad....
And I hope you figure out a way to have a merry Christmas day, and that you have everything you need if snowed in!

2. Sorry to hear that, but better a snowy white tomb than this one...

5. I don't have a shovel
I dug out last time with the brush/scraper from my car. My back is still recovering.

6. This snow is crazy
We don't have the plows to deal with this volume of white stuff.

7. Nor do we.
Now since there has been additional snow, there is a frozen curb of snow further blocking me in. :(

8. I barely got out yesterday
There was a set of tracks down the alley, but the stuff in the middle scraped the bottom of my car as I down the street. It's twice as deep now.

10. I went to look at your snow via Seattle Cam...
they obviously did not plan on the snow sticking to the cam lens.

all of Seattle looks....fuzzy.
Very soft, tho.

12. It's finally switching to rain here,
thank goodness! Sorry you're getting hit so hard! A neighbor shoveled my walk for me a couple of days ago...I hope a good Samaritan shows up for you, too!
