Poll question: Poll: What did you do yesterday?
I'll assume "opening presents" because I think many people did that, and I want to make other choices available.

If you did more than one, choose the one you think will get fewer replies.

Mrs. V. and I dined with ourselves. We were going to go out but couldn't find an open restaurant. I put frozen finger foods into the oven. Tasty if evil dinner. Other than that, we did nothing all day. She read and I watched TV and played on the 'puter.

1. other
After gifts we had our traditional Quiche and cinnamon rolls for brunch and then got to work on our house. The man hung doors and then we proceeded to ripping up the nasty parquet flooring in the den to ready it for carpeting today. We live in renovation hell and my Dad is coming for a week, arriving tomorrow.

We have so much to do. I'm having my coffee and then back at it again.

Hubby is doing all the work himself. No contractors just me. He's very ill right now and I have NO idea how he keeps going. Oh and me?, I've had pneumonia for the last 3 weeks but feeling SO much better thanks to nasty nasty antibiotics.

Merry Christmas to you and Mrs V :loveya:

great poll btw.

kesha.

2. Here goes....
I washed my filthy kitchen floor, baked gingerbread, helped my kids put together their new toys, ate dinner when my DH came home from work, & fell asleep early due to a raging sinus headache.

3. good morning, Bertha!
like all good Jews do on Dec. 25th () I went to the movies (saw Slumdog Millionaire - which was excellent) and had Chinese food!

Merry day after Christmas! It sounds like you had a good holiday!

something about this time of year makes me write with exclamation points! I'd stop, but every sentence seems to need one! :silly:

4. Had a quiet day sitting by a potbelly stove in our barn.
It rained here in AZ and was cold, only 58 degrees... ok, ok, but that's cold for us here.
We had a nice mid-day dinner of Beef Wellington and Champagne and then had Cognac by the potbelly. Nice and cozy.
