Plans for New Years Eve?

I'll be at the Bill Graham Civic Aud in SF with the "Whats left of the Grateful Dead" bunch...I saw the Dead about 20 times on NYE beginning in 1968.......

1. I'll be in New Orleans....

No specific plans- Just going to have dinner somewhere, then find a bar to hang in for a while or head back to the B&B for some rest.

I would like to be there! New Years used to be fun- Even if you couldn't make the show there was USA network or a live radio broadcast somewhere. Have fun!

8. It's my birthday....

But I don't go out because of the number of drunk drivers on the road. NYE is "amateur night." I might have a friend or two over but, because one of my cats is really sick :cry: I might just watch my favorite movies (Casablanca, Singin' in the Rain, The Simpsons), order a pizza, and have a nice Sam Adams Holiday Porter. Or go to the Cheesecake Factory and buy a Tuxedo Cheesecake, bring it home, and bury my face in it. Nah... but I might get slices if my buds come over.

In a word, not much.

But I actually was thinking about watching Lawrence of Arabia before we came up with the other idea... or maybe a Kubrick film fest! (well, minus the R/X rated ones since kids will likely be present.)
