Any band who is brazenly making fun of shitty 80s music and singing songs about doing blow with barflies is fucking amazing.

Secondly, I know what seppuku is. It's pretty common knowledge.

4. Great band, parody or not!

Steel Panther a.k.a. Metal Skool a.k.a. Danger Kitty (in an old Discover card commercial).

Probably better than most of the REAL hair metal bands of the 80's. And two of these guys also play in the Atomic Punks, which is the closest thing to a Van Halen show you'll ever see (at a much lighter ticket price than the recent VH reunion tour)
