What was the last movie that made you cry?

I just watched this movie called CJ7, and it had me in tears twice. And it's a funny family movie!

At the end I was in tears, and my kids were making fun of me for it. x( They were tearing up too, but as my older daughter so kindly pointed out, I was the only one who was "really" crying, cause my voice was breaking and everything.

It was made by the writer/director who made Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle... which I loved but which didn't make me cry like an overly-emotional idiot. :P

I always cry tears of happiness at the end, when the seals return little Jamie to his human family. What a moving scene! I was amazed to learn that none of animals in the movie were trained.

The Secret of Roan Inish is a beautiful movie, with a gentle storyline, amazing animals, spectacular scenery and wonderful Irish music.

I don't mind people trying new things, and when I watch a movie or listen to music I judge it on what they're trying to do, not what I want to see them do. If they surprise me and it's well done all the better. :)

I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago and was sobbing like a maniac towards the end. The mother-daughter scenes reminded me of me and my mother who passed away 12 years ago. It certainly hit a chord ... I was surprised, especially since I'd read the book after she died and it didn't have the same effect. At all. Luckily I was watching it alone!
