Paula Deen irritates the hell out of me

I saw her on a Leno rerun. God, that woman drives me insane.

The deep south is where I live, and I've never heard such a cartoonish accent except maybe in an episode of the Andy Griffith Show (season one), or in a Looney Tunes cartoon.

And while I think "ya'll" is fine and dandy as a contraction of sorts, I've never heard anyone else use it as one-fifth of their total vocabulary.

But the number one thing that bothers me about Paula Deen is that she is constantly sucking on her fingers, at the same time those same fingers are preparing food for other people to eat.

It's only by a complete accident of history, that her business empire wasn't nipped in the bud, in it's infancy, by the Savannah, Georgia health department.

In fact, I have come to the conclusion that Paula Deen is not a real person at all. She really must be a cartoon character, created by George Bush and Osama bin Laden, to kill all Americans, via butter of mass infarction.

She was the goddess of Food Network... but then they had to bring in Giada. I think she is beautiful, but I think Rachel would be friendlier. Giada seems like she would be a snob. And you are no snob!

Rachel is irritating. She's cute. But her "bubbliness" can overwhelm.

I remember seeing the Enquirer, or another supermarket tabloid, talking about her getting divorced. And it said that she was going to have to unload $500 million! Is that in any way possible? Can she possibly be that rich?

I would be proud to pay a half-billion dollar settlement. If I could afford it.! ;)

I think I've found my ideal career path at last! I'm going to become a vivacious, chubby cutie, with basic cooking skills, rip off the Wednesday paper for recipes, become friendly with Oprah, and reap the billions!

I kid! I like Rachel. (But some people have all the damn luck.)

Jiminy Christmas, if I ate like that I'd be one of those unfortunate people who have to be evacuated from their apartments with a fork lift. Deep fried macaroni and cheese wrapped in bacon? I'll take the triple bypass for $200, Alex.

I do like watching her at the nail parlor, where they always have the Food Channel playing. I wonder what outrageous concoction of fat and sugar she'll feature next.

And the finger licking thing? Yes, disgusting. But I was watching Iron Chef teams - Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis and Rachael Ray and Mario Batali.

Well, they showed Giada plating, and constantly licking her fingers. I hope the judges saw that. :rofl:
