Lived in CO my whole life, and I never remember hearing that as a kid. WTF is going on with the world?

8. Thundersnow is about as common as tornadoes on a sunny cloudless day...

it happens but not all that often.

ETA: Thundersnow is a lot less dangerous though. It's almost always cloud-to-cloud lightning.

During a snowstorm, thunder and lightening...about 30 years ago.
Very strange indeed.
