Langella IS Richard nixon. He obivously doesn't look like him from the front, but his profile is an exact match. Langella gives perhaps one of the great movie monologues of all time when he tries to psych out Frost. When he reached the climax of his speech I was literally breathless. The guy who plays Frost could be a dark horse for a best supporting actor nomination. You see him go from a hot shot talkshow host to the realization that he's grossly outmatched and the internal struggle to save not just the interview but his career and reputation. I highly recommend this movie.

2. Thank you for the review....I am going soon to see it.
I thought living through it, I wouldn't want to experience it, again.
I do, though.

I was a very young housewife, then...busy with work and children...
but I realize I really tried hard to pay attention to what was going
on around me.

I am taking my youngest (33 Years old) so he can see that some of
mom's political rantings against the machine.....have a basis in reality.

5. you'll love it then, though it does show Nixon as a much more complex character
It portrays a man trying to do what he thinks is right, while hinting at madness and social awkwardness.

9. Oh, I didn't realize he was in it
He just starred in a Dickens thing on the Beeb, too. (Did you know he married Zoe in real life?)

10. Yeah
lucky bastard

He was the producer. Was also in Ashes to Ashes, and it took me a solid half hour to realize it was him, a human chameleon I guess.

11. I watched an interview with Ron Howard the other day where they covered each
of his movies and ending with the Frost/Nixon one. Howard has to be one of the best directors in Hollywood. After seeing some of the scenes, I decided this movie must be seen.

Thanks for your review and I am glad to hear it is a good movie.
