to buy this heinous brew called 'Purple Passion' which was everclear and grape 'juice', tasted like Kool-Aid until you woke up with your head stuck in a fence!

Edited on Wed Dec-31-08 02:53 PM by tigereye

My husband said a friend said it was good, and what a great name!

I have Sicilian lemonade, some champagne and nice beers I had for my 50th birthday party, some Gnarly Head, and several other bottles of wine we bought for X-mas. But I doubt we will drink much, we never do!

9. Okay, I've been slammed for this on DU before but I'm having...
VODKA MARTINIS!!!

Yeah? Yeah? You got a problem with that?

My recipe:

"Three" soy vodka + dry vermouth + garlic stuffed olive = :9

Sorry I got a little testy there, underpants, but I mentioned my recipe on DU a couple of years ago and was soundly chastised that a martini used gin only and what I was describing was a "cocktail."

But if you ever get the chance, try--

Yum!

I personally don't call it a martini, it is however my drink of choice as well (I call them mumblers.)

Cheers, Mugu

35. Apparently Limoncello is what DeVito was trashed on when he went on the View.
So he made lemons out of public embarrassment and came out with his own brand.

The snow storm meant that we're stuck with whatever booze we have in the house, and that's it.

Started with Sobieski vodka,

then switched to Heffeweissen UFOs,

and when New Year's comes, we'll pop open the Corbel Brut.
