11. I like the instrumental part best.

I'm not big on rap, but I like the songs that have the most instrumental music in them, as opposed to being mostly focused on the spoken word.

14. I may be from the old school but I like this genre too!

I grew up listening to the classicals, Stephane Grappelli, and Noel Pointer and I think the strings in hip-hop are totally OK!


Another group I listen to is Nuttin' but Stringz, two hip-hop brothers on violins.

What I love about Apocalyptica is that they are seriously good musicians. Saw them in concert a few months ago and in the middle of massively rockin the house they sat down and played a chamber piece. It may have been Schubert. The club went nuts, all the metal heads loved it!

32. I have been listening to their music since I first replied.

I LOVE them! WOW! Thanks so much for turning me on to them! Too bad I see no tour dates listed at this time. I didn't even realize that 2 of their songs were getting pretty heavy airplay... "I Don't Care" and "I'm Not Jesus." I love both songs, although I actually wish the vocals didn't overshadow the cello as much.... but I realize that is what was needed to GET airplay.

They are on my CD wishlist now. As soon as I officially have a new job, I have some things I have been wanting to buy, and they're on the list!
