How do you think my mother spent $2000?

There's a grocery store here that offers points if you use the store's in-house Mastercard for for purchases etc. My mother has managed to accumulate over $500,000 points. (2000 points = $20)

The store sells small appliances, clothing, electronics, small furniture, groceries etc.

She had told me that if I wanted something, to let her know, and she would buy it with points. They had a Boxing week sale on a coffee maker that I wanted for work (aprox $80) so I asked her if her offer was still good. She said yes, and that she would pick it up for me.

(cut to the first 5 minutes of 2009)

My mom called me to wish me a happy new year. She was a little bit tipsy. She told me that she's picked up the coffee maker AND A SURPRISE. She also got something for my brother. I could tell by the way she was speaking that she had been on a bit of spree, so I asked her how many points she had left.

$300,000

That means my mom went on $2000 spree. The question is, what did she buy?
