Rolling Change...
Ah, the pleasures of being broke. (aka, I lurve bank of schemerica)

The bank (of america) lost my latest deposit and show no record of me putting it in my account. My cousin shows it as being cashed, but BOA doesnt show that it ever made my account. So after much aggrivation, I should know something by Tuesday or Wednesday. Till then, I shall be taking my rolled coins to the bank for paper cash money.

I just rolled over 100$ in dimes alone. I've already been spending quarters. Next I'm on to the nickels then the pennies. I probably have 30 more dollars left to roll.

...and we laughed at grandpa for burying his money in the backyard....

Yay Poverty!

1. Your bank doesn't have a coin counting machine?

My old credit union had one - free. They just dumped in the coins and the machine spit out the total. I suppose you had to take them at their word, but it sure is easier than rolling coins. In fact, the first time I took coins in, I had to unwrap them.

2. Always, Always, ALWAYS save deposit slips until it has cleared
I've had this happen more than once and having that proof of deposit can mean the difference between rolling change and a slight hassle. :hi:

3. I have the deposit receipt and they still cant find the record of the deposit
I read the numbers off of it over the phone to the customer (non)service person. She was STILL unable to locate the record of the transaction.
